My Passion for film and post production is simply to create beautiful images that can really challenge peoples perception of the world we live in.

I believe it is so important to help guide the new breed of artists as they navigate their way into this fantastic business and that is why I will always support festivals such the Aldridge UTC Film festival which I was honoured to be a part of. The young students I met on the night showed the passion and drive I love to see when looking for new talent.

Festival Director
After working with young creative filmmakers from Salford for 7 years, it makes me proud to bring a short film festival to the city, which champions the work of student filmmakers. The festival hopes to attract the work of student filmmakers from across the globe, in the years to come, however this year we will focus on home grown talent from UTC@MediaCityUK. Over the course of the evening you will watch films from a number of different mediums, focusing on a range of different themes and genres. The genres range from drama, comedy, horror, documentary and music video.
Being a filmmaker, I have learnt the hard way. I know first-hand from being a student myself, how difficult it is to find a professional platform to screen your work. We aim to give young filmmakers the chance to have their work showcased on a big screen, in front of industry professionals therefore allowing their hard work to get noticed.
