About
Aldridge UTC Film Festival is a short film festival based in Media City UK, which champions the work of student filmmakers. The festival hopes to attract the work of student filmmakers from across the globe. We are in our second year of organising this event with last year's being for home grown talent from UTC@MediaCity UK.

We pride ourselves on discovering and championing emerging filmmakers allowing them access to networking with industry professionals. Here at UTC@MediaCityUK we aim to inspire and empower the young filmmakers of tomorrow, giving them a space to showcase their incredible work.
The Festival's Aims
1.   To give student filmmakers a dedicated platform to showcase their talents.
2.   To raise the profile of Salford.
3.   To develop new talent through workshops, industry talks and networking.
4.   Work with local businesses to build partnerships and attract footfall.
